BOOM! DRAGONS!

I was {trying} to organize my photos the other day and came across a folder of pictures from November that I'd {almost} forgot about... I love them too much not to share. :)

she marches around the yard with purpose...

in her own little world....

talking to bugs...

and singing her abc's...

and then, her brothers come out to play... and hand her a sword...

right before {gently} tackling her to the ground, telling her they were dragons...

dragons? she says...

well... in that case...

and then, she brushes herself off and continues on with her walk....

this time with a sword... ready for battle...

I feel like this sometimes. like I'm walking through life, enjoying a beautiful day when BOOM. DRAGONS. Except... I don't really want to fight. I'm tired, and fighting is hard. So the dragons take over... and when they do, it's hard to see beauty.

But, then I realize I have to fight. I can't quit. As hard as homeschool is, as hard as fostercare is, as hard as marriage can be... it's worth it. I remember that I too, have a sword. God has given me HIM and His word...

as scary as life can be sometimes I have that. I just need to use it.
