Small Style: Nerd Style.

Today's Small Style the girls are wearing their "Nerd Girl" socks {Target Mini Harajuku: clearance!}and their brothers old converse...

For the rest of their outfits I have to tell you one of my little secrets... I still dress my girls (who wear some 2t, mostly 3t) in clothes size 12-24mo.  That skirt on Hope? a size 18 mo.

If I REALLY love a sweater or a skirt I keep it after they've outgrown it and layer it on top of something... like Hope's skirt - it's layered. Keziah's sweater is a size 24mo. layered on a size 3t shirt.

I do this ALL the time with the girls dresses... they look super cute AND I get much more wear out of their clothes.  It works awesome except for that one time I accidentally (because it's still in the girls drawer) put tights on Keziah that were a size 12mo. We'll just say she had some wardrobe malfunctions. We'll also just say it only happened once. :)
